Cat Jones tells us all about JourneyAI and how it is helping Byway crack the code on sustainable travel

This week I got to chat with one of my heroes in the travel industry - Cat Jones. Byway is not yet 5 years old but Cat & her team’s commitment to building a travel industry that speaks to our times is so great to watch from afar.

I was fortunate to spend 17 years working for a pioneer in responsible travel where every decision was measured against the impact it would have on the ground for people, places and communities. I have a passion for travel that helps create or maintain great places for people to live.

Byway and its mission to rekindle flight free travel and really, truly lean into travel not just being about the destination but the journey, is a great example for everyone to take note of. Not least because it is catching fire commercially as well as all the other good things it espouses and delivers.

And yes, AI is right in the middle of it all too!
